Students enrolled in the Central Board of Secondary Education are evaluated in two areas:
Scholastic: In this class, students concentrate on essential academic subjects. They are taught all major disciplines, including social science, science, math, and language.
Co-scholastic: This category covers games, athletics, art, music, and craftwork important for a student’s growth. This was developed to help pupils stay healthy and fit, which leads to improved learning.
The academic year of the Scholastic areas is divided into two terms, Term 1 and Term 2, and two types of exams, Formative Assessment and Summative Assessment.
Formative Assessment (F.A.) examinations are given in elementary schools in oral testing, dictation, homework, class exam, projects & assignments, storytelling, elocution, memory test, quiz, etc.

The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education, often known as the ICSE Board, is a Class 10 test administered by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), a private school board in India. The CISCE board is based in New Delhi. It is regarded as one of India’s most prominent educational boards, holding the ICSE Class 10 and I.S.C. Class 12 boards.
According to the New Education Policy 1986, the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education was intended to give an exam in the course of general education through the English medium.

Curriculum Details
Class 1 to 5
ICSCEschools have the freedom to select their textbooks for classes 1 to 5. The board has guidelines for every subject.
Class 6 to 10
No prescribed syllabus, but only guidelines are provided for students of class 6, 7 and 8. For class 9 and 10 with a list of books from which the schools can choose for their students. There is no textbook set by the Council.
ICSE Class 10 Board Exam
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations conducts the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) exam for Class 10 students.
ICSE Class 10 Board Exam
There are seven subjects in the exam, of which 4 are compulsory subjects and three optional. Board conducts all school-level ICSE Board exams for subjects like English, History, Commercial Studies, Science, Environmental Science, etc.
ICSE Exam Pattern English I (2 hours)
There will be four broad questions. A composition of 450 to 500 words, second is a letter, third is an unseen passage and related questions, and fourth would be a question to test students’ grammar. In the essay and letter section, students are given a choice. They should choose only those topics which they know thoroughly.

ICSE Exam Pattern For Hindi (3 hours)- First section deals with the Hindi Language.
It has three major parts – i)Essay of around 250 words ii)Letter iii) Unseen passage.
Second section deals with Hindi Literature, in which students are supposed to answer any four questions from the two books they have read from.

Section – A – Short compulsory questions worth 40 marks

Section – A First part deals with small answer type ques from the civics part(10 marks)
The second part deals with small answer type ques from the history part (20 marks)
Section – B First part has three long answer type questions from civics, out of which any two are to be solved (20 marks)
The second part has five long answer type questions from history, out of which any three are to be solved (30 marks)
ICSE Exam Pattern For Geography (2 hrs)
The first part has two questions –

The second part has nine questions, out of which five are to be solved (50 marks)
ICSE Exam Pattern For. E.V.S. (2 hrs)
The first part has four compulsory questions, and the second part has five long answer-type questions, out of which any four are to be solved.
